Khan Hasnain Aaqib
Khan Hasnain Aaqib (born Qadam Hasnain Khan on 8 July 1971 in Akola, Maharashtra) is a distinguished poet, writer, literary critic, translator, research scholar, and educationist. Writing in Urdu, Hindi, English, and Persian, he has established himself as a significant contemporary literary voice, particularly through his ghazals and nazms. With 17 published books to his credit, Aaqib has made substantial contributions to Urdu literature. His notable works include Ram-e-Aahoo, Khama Sajda Rez, Iqbal Ba Chashm-e-Dil, and Kam-O-Besh. His Persian poetry has also earned recognition in Persian-speaking literary circles. Academically, he holds postgraduate degrees in Urdu, English, and History, along with MSW, M.Ed., and LL.B. He serves as a Lecturer and is a member of the Urdu and Persian Language Committee of Balbharti, Pune, contributing to the development of language and literature in education. For his outstanding services in the fields of literature and education, Khan Hasnain Aaqib has been honoured with several prestigious awards, including the AMP National Award for Excellence in Education and the Mukhlis Musawwari Award for Literature. Through his creative and scholarly pursuits, he continues to enrich contemporary Urdu literature and inspire readers, students, and literary enthusiasts.

Dekhunga zor kitna hai tere ubaal mein
بے وفائی تیری عادت سہی اچھی تو نہ تھی
बेवफ़ाई तेरी आदत सही अच्छी तो न थी
